Tina Turner may no longer be with us, but her legacy lives on, and so does the love she shared with her husband, Erwin.

Their connection was undeniable from the very start, despite a 17-year age gap. After 27 years of testing their relationship, Tina and Erwin finally married in July 2013. Tina once said, *”He was loyal, kind, and understanding — and determined to help me get through all this alive.”* Erwin’s love and sacrifice gave Tina a chance to live life to the fullest, and she always felt grateful for the “gift of life” he gave her.
